Drawing bored horses

I’ve had an annoying to-do for almost two weeks now. It says that I should sit my ass down, and draw that bloody Bored Horse logo. Well, it’s rather an illustration that I’ll use with some sort of type, or whatever, but either way, it needs to be properly drawn.

And, as you can tell from the total lack of bored horses, I haven’t done this. I’ve drawn other things, finalized a logo for an upcoming project, and been working with brands for clients.

But no bored horses, which is a shame because I’d really like to move ahead here. When the logo’s done, or at least in a beta state fitting this site (which doesn’t say much), I have some other tweaks I want to do to the layout here. It needs the logo to make sense, though, I think, maybe. Or potentially I’m just procrastinating because this week’s been pretty rough. Not bad, mind you, but rough. You might’ve noticed the photo post on Tuesday, and Thursday (yesterday) was the first weekday I missed since the inception of Bored Horse. That hurt, by the way, but I was just too beat to write anything remotely coherent. Luckily, no one was hurt due to the lack of a Thursday Bored Horse post, at least not that I’m aware of, so there’s that.
