Happy New Year
It’s 2022, and what better way to celebrate this momentous occasion, than to launch a brand-new blog? As some of you probably know, I haven’t been writing regularly on my personal site (currently a placeholder page in Swedish) for a long time. Switch to iPad has gotten regular newsletters and updates the past year, but that’s it.
I miss having a blog. There, I said it.
I also miss tinkering with said blog, a playground for new ideas — be it written ones, or things rooted in design or development — which is something I used to do a long time ago.
Thus, this very site, called Bored Horse solely because I, a long time ago, found it hilarious to buy the bored.horse domain. I use that one for my newsletter — The Bored Horse — whereas boredhorse.com is the primary domain for this site. Getting a .com alternative was mostly me worrying that .horse would disappear. That’s the story about the name, Bored Horse. It has nothing to do with horses, nor NFTs for that matter (I was a bit annoyed when Bored Apes Yacht Club became a thing). I sincerely doubt I’ll write about horses, although I might have an opinion on NFTs. We’ll see.
That’s the idea here. A stream of consciousness, an open logbook, part journal, part commentary, and always whatever I want it to be.
So, Happy New Year to you, and Happy Birthday to Bored Horse. Now, let’s do this.
