The Bored Horse newsletter goes out to subscribers on Fridays (except two weeks ago, as you know), free of charge. One section in said newsletter contains links to things I found interesting, things that are not, in fact, published on Bored Horse because it appears that there are other websites on the internet, too. Who could’ve known?!

🐶 A guide on how to throw a party in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, because that’s apparently still a thing since this two year old piece got brushed up for 2022.
🎮 Speaking of games, if you’re lucky enough to get a Steam Deck, you can check what games in your Steam library will actually work on the thing. Spoiler: Not all of then.
🪐 NASA took photos of Venus’s surface, and that’s obviously cool.
🚀 Speaking of space, let’s use lasers to get to Mars in 45 days or so. This one’s interesting, but a little dry.
✨ Have you seen Inventing Anna on Netflix? It was okay, I guess. NYT has an interview with Anna Sorokin, who made a bundle on the show.
📺 More TV to watch in the future: Ridley Scott backed shows in the Alien and Blade Runner universes, respectively. The latter could be cool, and it reminds me that I really should watch the Blade Runner: Black Lotus anime.
⌨️ The Penkesu Computer is really cool, and I want one.
🤥 The UK tax authority has seized three NFTs, because there are laws, and the shit will hit the fan on this, sooner or later.
🧠 There might already be a conscious AI (or AGI, rather), according to Ilya Sutskever of the OpenAI research group.
